Kia NLEX! And Blackwater accepted as new PBA teams

As per PBA Commissioner Chito Salud, all three applicants have been accepted. Kia, NLEX and Blackwater will be included in the 40th season of PBA. There will also be no direct hires for the three teams but they will be picking 11th, 12th and 13th in the upcoming PBA draft.

Salud also mentioned that new teams can vote right away since they are full-fledged members of the organization although NLEX can only vote on policy matters, not on game matters being an MVP owned team. (Source: Jane Bracher)

The voting of the PBA board was unanimous in approving all three teams.!
